HV Batt Temp Sensors, how far apart can they be?

Had code P0A9D - HV Batt Temp Sensor 'A' Circuit Low
Torque shows sensor 1 and 2 at 65 degrees and sensor 3 at 302 degrees.
Tore apart battery and found sensor A covered in some water.
Cleaned it off, now Torque is showing 1 and 2 at 65 degrees and 3 at 19 degrees.
Are these values close enough to drive? (without having to clear ECU faults everytime I start the car to get to Ready, like I had to do when I had P0A9D)

This Prius is a smashed up beaten down torn apart secondary car that's one wrong move away from the junk yard, so I want costs to stay at minimum.
302-65=237 degrees difference was too much for the computer, so I'm hoping 65-19=46 degrees difference isn't too much.
Sure, it won't be optimal MPG, and regenerative braking will be thermally limited; but my goal is simply to get cruise control working again, meaning no Check Engine Light.

If I must buy another temp sensor, anyone know someone willing to sell me one? I don't see any on eBay, and other threads have mentioned being unable to find the sensors as well. Do you think I can throw out the 3rd one and splice sensor 2 into both sensor 2 and 3 wires? Or would that fry the HV battery computer...?
