Hi all, Hoping to get an idea of whether this needs immediate attention or not - a solid hum/whine coming from the back whenever I hit 30mph or so. It's a deep sound at slower speeds and then gets more high-pitched at 50+. From searches it sounds like a bearing going south. But with the holiday weekend upon us I won't be able to get it looked at until next week. Is there a risk with driving it between now and then?
Generally speaking no not at all It may get louder and louder and louder and you may notice it less and less and less That's just human nature change it you know as soon as possible It catching on fire and falling apart and the wheel falling off not very likely those are the old days and generally in the front that would happen on the older hub bearing setups the rear no problem.
