How'd you decide on your screen name?

I've been using this name online, or slight variations of it, for the past 17 (yes, seventeen) years, and don't see any reason to change now.

 

I've been using this name for 58 years. So it's always my first choice for a screen name if it's not already taken. And I joined PC early enough that it wasn't. Fortunately for me, Danny didn't choose to call himself Daniel when he built this site.

 

Summer of '93 is when I began using mine. I wanted to make a difference. The ship with that id provided the inspiration and a way of making my rather common first name unique. What followed is documented in my blogs. See, I bought this hybrid called "Prius", then...

 

...because geologists love bad puns =)

Then you failed, because it's actually a very good pun. Nice screen name!

 

My wife uses tnt on a literary board she frequents. Husbands are referred to as "hub"... Thus tnthub.

 

My Prius Chat screen name, tazman, is also the name I use in the online gaming community I am a part of, axxium.org. The other screen name I have used since 1996 or so is stanglvr. That one should be obvious. I have owned a number of vintage Mustangs, have a Mustang running horse tatoo and I love Mustangs, so stanglvr.

 

Grandma Judy is what the grandkids call me - not embarassed to admit my age & proud to be a Grandma!

 

Mine is my dog's name which seems to be the first choice for brown dogs in Hawaii.

I'm a retired Border Patrol Agent, thus my screen name.

 

The computer login name assigned to me at work when we first got computers. First 5 letters of last name, then first and middle initials. Hey, if you are really bored, you can probably find my full name thru various posts I have made.

 

Trekkies that remember episodes of ST:Voyager - Tom Paris was customizing a shuttle like a hot rod. Named it Delta Flyer. Since my car looked like it was out of Star Trek, thought I'd take it full circle....

I'm a trekker... since I have quite literally gone where no one has gone before, hence the website.

 

Type of car, color of car and the way I drive it. I hardly ever ever do much over the speed limit anymore, which would have been unheard of in my Porsche days. I don't hold people up in the fast lane, though. That's just ignorant.

Trekkies are Trekkers who get upset if you call them "Trekkies".

 

I created it for the Highlander TV show forum. I wanted something of English nobility but didn't want to be Lady anything.

I also like chocolate.
