Have been unable to locate Prius specific instructions on this after some clown clipped my L/H drivers side mirror (just the glass is shattered there is no issue with the rest of the power mirror). Can anyone who actually replaced the glass recommend a set of instructions specifically for the 2G?

    Thanks

Push the top of the glass so that the bottom moves towards u.

Stick ur fingers between the bottom of the glass & the body of the mirror......now pull the bottom of the glass towards u to release the clips on each corner.

Bring the top of the mirror glass out towards u.

Lift the glass up towards the sky so that the 2 hooks at the top come undone.

That's it. Install is the reverse.

Is replacement on the 2012 side view mirror glass the same process? The mirror is heated. Thanks.

I have 2011 Toyota Prius Five. Driver side mirror was hit by a Lacrosse ball and spider webbed. Mirrors are not heated, but I assume the wires are there? Can I replace with a heated mirror glass just as easy as a non heated mirror glass?

    U have a gen3 Prii so a gen2 mirror will not fit.

But yes, u can use a heated mirror glass in a non heated mirror housing & the other way around.

Do you any store I can purchase replacement glass for my 2010 Prius. I am looking for the glass already glue on its back panel, so I can just pop the old one out, and snap the replacement in.
    Thanks

I have a 2013 Prius Three... the mirror attachment to the motor is a circular clip, not the bottom push-in pins and top rotating clips.
