    Hi everyone:
    I wanted to share with you my most recent and easiest mod to my base prius.
    When I got my prius out of the dealership, I had an Iphone 7 which lacked wireless charging. I know have an Iphone 11 and I just cant get enough of the whole wireless charging thing.
    So here is what you will need
    Wireless charger pad
    (
    )
    12 volt socket (with inline fuse)
    (
    )
    Wire Taps
    (
    )
    a 12 volt to USB car charger (dont cheap out on with these, believe me its a hazard to use those dollar store sockets, get a decent one) I got this exact same one:
    (
    )

    A cheap voltmeter (not a requirement but always a good idea to have one handy to check polarity)
    Trim removal plastic tool and common sense.

    So basically you start by removing the trim piece thats in front of the armrest, you just pull that upwards and then its a matter of pulling the whole console up, its just held by clips.
    You flip it over, tap into the 12 volt outlet wires. and just run the wires up towards the front of the console.
    It took me about 20 minutes from start to finish and its something I recommend anyone to do.

    its super easy and no soldering skills are required (or wire splicing)

    You might be able to simplify a little with a hardwire kit
