How do you set and configure passive alarm mode?

    Folks,

    It has been posted here that you can activate the passive mode on the alarm without the scan tool. After searching, I cannot find the actual proceedures.

    Can someone direct me to the thread?

    If the thread is MIA could someone with the repair manual look it up and post it in the knowledgebase?
