Thought you guys would get a kick out of this video I made of my Russian nice person digging out of the snow:

**Disclaimer: the video is a bit long and is meant for entertainment purposes. I'm making a 1 minute remake so stay tuned if you don't want to waste 12 minutes of your day. Regardless, I hope to get a laugh out of you**

Enjoy and don't forget to laugh! :)

Grren4ever said something worth sharing and I don't want you to damage your vehicle:

"One thing I would point out for all folks in the snow is not to use your wipers to clear off a thick layer of snow on any of the windshields! Apparently, this puts strain on the motor and screws up your wiper arm linkages. I did this accidentally with my previous car and the linkages were so messed up that everytime I used the wiper, they made a really annoying drag and wobble sound across the windshield."

Oleg Antonov (AKA Boris Badenov) - Thanks for the instructional chuckle. Might it be assumed that it was Natasha Fatale who was the primary videographer? :)

My favorite line was "Coca-Cola On Ice, Nothing Beats It".

I found this entertaining. However, I think I'm going to need significant amounts of therapy to determine why I did.

Yep, me too. That was actually pretty funny, but I can't believe I just spent several minutes of life watching a video of a guy.......how you say......."unboxing" his Prius. The ending was worth it, however!

My wife and I enjoyed this demented silliness. I'm a bit surprised there wasn't any vodka in that coke, though! Also, I kept wanting to see the look on the "cameraman's" face. I'm imagining lots of eye-rolling.

Lol loving the feedback :). If anyone's curious on the mod list to the car let me know. The snow doesn't help but there's a few subtle mods some of you may appreciate. Still stock tide height and stock 15" wheels though. Im in possession of Eihback springs but haven't installed them yet.

My bad, I'll add a disclaimer for PriusChat users. I plan on making a shorter 1 minute version. Its definitely too long!!

Actually, part of what was "entertaining" and funny to me, was how long and detailed it was....

You make that 1 minute long? It's just like 9900,0000 other video's on youtube.

Gathered Priuscheks - What "The Electric Me" said ^^^^^^. An intelligent snip or two here and there may be fine. However, carving it down to a shorter One Minute version would unduly rob it of its signature Oleg narrative, and understated, humorous entertainment value. Oleg, use great care in applying your video scalpel to trim it down.

That seemed like an extended ad for Coke.

Good job keeping a straight face throughout :p

Thanks for the positive feedpack (too many names to name). I urged my wife to shoot the video with my spontaneous ambitions so I'm happy some of you got a kick out of it as much as I had fun making if. :) Like I said earlier I got some mods done that I'll post later and if people want to see DIY vids of the mods I have a nice DSLR to shoot tutorials with (per request). And yes, to the previous user, my wife shot the video with a Galaxy S3 (2012).

    SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 ?

    Timeline of video: (approximate)
    2:30pm - Russian
    2:35pm - Slam doors
    2:40pm - Defrosters
    3:00pm - Wipers
    3:10pm - Backup
    3:12-3:18 - Drive

Taking a quick loop around my neighborhood and blastings two 10" Rockford Fosgate's finished the job of unboxing (unshoveling) the Prius.

    3:28 - Redneck Jingle Bells
    3:30 - Grabbing my Coke A Cola.

    Loved the video!

One thing I would point out for all folks in the snow is not to use your wipers to clear off a thick layer of snow on any of the windshields! Apparently, this puts strain on the motor and screws up your wiper arm linkages. I did this accidentally with my previous car and the linkages were so messed up that everytime I used the wiper, they made a really annoying drag and wobble sound across the windshield.

    Happy driving!

And the last one is a pic before plasti-dipping the front emblem matte black and before applying yellow "tint" to the DRL which are rigged to stay on while my headlights are running (the way it was meant to be, TOYOTA!)

Shouldn't you be chasing moose and squirrel? :)

All that snow needed to slide off in front of the camera. Either Natasha needed to be down the street or you should have backed up for the run stopping in front of her.

There is only one phrase that can be used with the double thumbs up: "Great Success!"

    This is real snowman.
