I have a problem with one of the HOV stickers; it just won't stay on. It appears that they are made to be somewhat easy to remove. I have no idea as to how I would go about getting a replacement (assuming one is available). Does anyone have an idea for an adhesive that would hold the decal in place -- but allow it to be removed later on -- and would not do damage to the finish? Thanks. Ted
Just get a replacement sticker. It is the same form you used to originally get the stickers but check a different box. Glueing it down might cause damage to the paint.
Just curious... Was it relatively cold or wet when you put the sticker on? This is the first I've heard of a sticker that wouldn't... stick, that is.
If you get a replacement sticker, but sure to "dewax" and dry the area before mounting. Mild dewaxing might be soapy water with a little ammonia; serious is paint thinner (which does not remove the car paint).
