Sould I remove the horn cover would I find a nice adjustability mechanism? I like to tap the horn and really miss the old horn ring :(

Actually, has anyone rewired their horn to the alarm horn? That one sounds more 'normal'

I don't think you will find any adjustment on the horn. If you don't like the sound of the horn, go find one you do like - say from a '75 Buick and put it on. Then take your stock horn apart and see what you can find out. I prefer the Mack truck sound myself - nothing says move over like a good horn.
