I noticed the carpet above and to the right of the small plastic left footrest was getting a little messed up and figured it will only get worse. So I cut up one of my el-cheapo rubber floor mats and stuck an oversized piece with double sided duct tape onto the plastic. Stuck another small piece of 'hook' side of velcro to grab on to the carpet. It stays in place, so I'll see how it protects the carpet over time. Check out my dirt cheap rubber floor mat laying on top of the oem carpet mat. I know, not supposed to do that, but I put it in back during service visit. :) camera 377.jpg camera 378.jpg
