When I park my 2024 Prius Plug-in in my garage at home, the Prius app sends me texts to let me know my doors are unlocked and my windows are not shut. Is there anyway that I can teach it that it is in its home happy place and that it doesn’t need to send me those alert notices?

After reading a few reports of failing lock mechanisms, I decided to quit locking the car (a 2010) when in the garage. I do roll up the windows, concerned about insects.

our ‘10 is blessedly “stupid”; I can only commiserate with your problem. The manufacturers can’t seem to rein in their quest for overbearing conveniences.

I just uninstalled the app lol (kept nagging me that my driver side window is open - though in truth I can attempt to nudge it up when fully up unlike the other 3 door windows (which do not react when attempting to move them up when fully up-so not sure if that is normal or not-in any event, the app is a piece of junk like that "multimedia display")

On an iPhone you can set a "focus" which is a limited do-not-disturb that lets you mute individual apps. Once you make one that mutes the Toyota app, you can link its activation to a geo-fence around your home location.

I imagine there's a way to do the same on an Android phone but I don't know the steps.

Really? Our new 2024 Corolla Hybrid doesn't text us AND the stupid Toyota App doesn't even show the PSI of the tires....so what good is it?

I do appreciate how the Corolla doesn't beep like a madman whenever we are pulling in or out of the garage like my 2021 Prius....SO annoying. And the pedestrian speaker ("UFO speakers") in the Corolla isn't nearly as annoying as the Prius....sounds more like a choir than a UFO.
