Someone backed into my 2 month old Prius and damaged the rear bumper (hit and run). Any one know about how much a new rear bumper would be for a 2007 Prius? Just looking for a ballpark idea.

Go to any body shop and get a quote or let the insurance handle it. I got my front bumper damaged, along with fog light and lower grill. It was $1300+ - my deductable. I heard somebody say the rear was about $500 to remove and repaint, depending on what other parts are damaged. That's why you have insurance.

~$600ish in my area. ($200ish for the bumper itself.. I guess it depends how much they charge for paint, labour and other materials.. plus tax)

My rear bumper was also hit and run about 1.5 years ago. Cost me $500 to have it removed, repaired, (very minor damage) repainted and reinstalled. It has looked perfect ever since. Some people are scum and never take responsibility for their actions. I paid the $500 since my deductible was the same.
