That is funny. Glad to see everyone still has their sense of humor.
Can I hire you to drive in front of my Taxi's to help with the braking?
Three 2008's will keep you busy.

Any chance you can pull the [INTERCEPTOR] badge off the white car and put it on the blacked-out Prius?

    Wheel rings? Forgive my ignorance...

Oh, and I'm extremely pleased with the tint job on the Prius. I don't remember what it is...I think it's 10 or 15 in back and 20 or 25 on the front.

    License and registration, please.

Look here Son......the reason I stopped you is I think your tint exceeds the allowable State value for the drivers/front passengers side.
    How do you plead?

Exactly on the trim rings. I ripped mine off the second day I brought the car home and sold them on eBay for $100. I think the car looks much better plus the wheel edges don't rust under the trim ring itself. The effect looks especially good on a black car imo.

I like the wheel rings. :) Oh well, to each their own.

As for the tint, it varies by state. For instance here in CO, as long as you have 27 or higher in the front, you can go down to 5% in the back.

My previous car had 20% all the way around, never a problem. I drive onto a military base with vehicle checks everyday...

LOL - but may I point out the mistake you made? Your Prius should be facing the other way just in case it all the sudden decides to take off on its own! Surely you don't want it to end up in your house?! It would be much better facing the road!

Because the line between wrong and right,
Is the width of a thread from a spider's web,
The cars (piano key) are black and white,
But they sound like a million colours in your mind.

    Good eye.

I thought on it last night, and I'm pretty sure the back is 15 and the front two windows are 20. In Missouri (where I live) you can tint the back to full privacy. The front ones aren't supposed to be any more than 35, though.

There is a loophole, though. If you get a prescription from your eye doctor, you can have darker tint in front. You have to get the prescription, then take it to the local state highway patrol office and get a sticker. I actually do have a medical condition that makes my eyes pretty light sensitive, so I plan on getting the prescription next time I go to the eye doctor.
