I have been trying to extinguish this pop up: “Entune App Suite Connect application needs to be running on your phone.” I click on “OK” every time it appears. And then it pops up again some 60-90 seconds later. Obviously, I am in fact running the Entune app on my linked iPhone to no avail. Can someone suggest a remedy? Frankly, I do not care about Entune. I’m willing to eliminate it completely. Needless to mention, I’m not going to Toyota service for this. In the past, they bluff knowledge about these services. Not interested in being part of their Beta in service training. Sorry!
Is your phone paired via Bluetooth for Multimedia in addition to Voice? I’m not near my car but there is a setting to use HD Radio or your phone for traffic data and possibly other things. Make sure they are only set to HD radio only b
Did you try NOT opening the Entune app on your phone until it complains? Another concern, there seems to be multiple versions of Entune to download onto your phone. Make sure it is the correct one for you model Toyota... moto g(7) power ?
Does this warning pop up every time you turn on the car? Or when you try to use the Entune App from the menu on the screen? I see your car is 2017, did this start happening recently? On my 2017 PRIME, I was never interested in Entune, I don't have it on my phone, I never used the app in the car. I think I have seen the warning only when I accidentally pushed the Entune App button on the menu on the screen, but never keep reappearing on the screen.
Thanks everyone for such fast help. Salamander....no, I haven’t updated my profile. My Prime is a new 2020 Limited. I replaced the 2017. I shall update, thx! I just went to the iPhone apps and updated the Entune. Voila: The error message is gone. So far, at least. Thx for the support.
