    I have a question…

I have spent the better part of 3 nights going over every thread that had anything to do with the console in the 2010 Prius – I am trying to figure out how to disassemble the lower portion of the bridge – the part with the power socket and tray…

I have found how to take the top bridge apart, and remove the armrest console but can not find out how to get the bottom area apart…

I want to mount the I-Pod interface under/behind where the socket and seat heat switch would be, then route the cable into the storage box under the armrest, and store the I-Pod in that section…

Any help would be greatly appreciated…

I'm also working on a project that involves the low-bridge console, but I don't need to remove it. There are 2 bolts that hold the rear of it to the vertical support member (made of metal) behind and just below the main cup holder. I assume you have the center console out already. Also, there is one bolt angled towards the driver's side that you will see if you lift up the felt that lines the console.
Maybe it would be easier to pop out the plastic escutcheon for the USB and power socket. Then put in the interface and route the wire near the carpet-line on the driver's side then up and out of sight behind the plastic. Then you can further route the wires into the center console for the I-pod. Just some thoughts.
