I have a white cap/plug missing where the cooling line from the EGR cooler goes into a plastic T it’s circled in the picture what it should look like. My white plastic cap or plug is missing and I can’t order it without knowing its name or part number. Thanks

    We're basically reliving this thread:

Please help….what is this part number? | PriusChat

The white valve thingy isn't a part by itself. That black plastic tee with the white thingy in it was the original part, but Toyota later revised the part to just be a simple tee without that little valve at all. Seems they convinced themselves it was never functionally needed; they just deleted from the repair manual any mention of that valve or fussing with it, and they did not add any new steps in its place.

So if you're stuck right now because the tee that's in your car is open on the end where the white thing went, you've got a couple options.

If you go to a dealer and give them the tee part number (see that earlier thread), you'll get the current plain tee that neither has nor needs the white valve. Replace that tee and you're good to go.

Or, you might be able to find a parts car with the old tee that has the white valve, and just grab the valve from that.

In the help section in the auto parts store you should find a rubber cap with a little shaft sticking out the end of it that should fit in that hole of the t
