We recently lost one of our two cars, but thanks to a good friend in the car business we just got our hands on a 2008 Prius for a great price. Red, trim level 2, 190k miles, seems to be in great condition... Though we don't yet know the state of the battery, only that the computer isn't putting up a warning. The car came from the Pacific Northwest so perhaps the battery has had an easy and cool life so far. Guess I will find out tomorrow when we pick it up and I run the Dr. Prius app tests. Hopefully there is a lot of life left, but if not replacement will be tolerable considering we paid about half the typical price for the car. I've already benefited from reading a lot of old posts here, so thanks!
