Hello I am new here. My previous ride was a 09 Nissan 370z base w/ Sports package which I traded in for my 2012 Prius 2 Blizzard.

I have searched the forums but I have a few questions that I couldn’t find answers to.

Springs seems like I have a choice between TRD and Tanabe. Any one think which is better?

I also notice a lot of people say after springs they scrape on speed bumps. I am use to being about 3.5 inches off the ground and I think the Prius is at 6.5 inches so a 1.5 inch drop still puts me at 5 inches. Pretty tame I think.

I also plan for the TRD rear sway bar, with a Tanabe strut tower brace bar.

I am also thinking about a Tanabe Front sway bar but I am wondering how hard is that to be installed and any one think of using a Tanabe FSB in conjuction with a TRD RSB will get along good or mess things up.

I also need seat covers. The interior of my car is some sort of light tan color that I am afraid I will mark up really easy. I been looking at these seat covers from juicedhybrid the Mesh Seat Covers for 2012 Toyota Prius

The BlK/Taupe looks close to my original colors but is kind of more expensive than I would like to pay.
If any one has better recommendations let me know. Cheaper is better.

I also ordered some custom clear bar stuff invisiblemask. I have enough patience and dexterity in my hands to get it done. It will be my first time installing it but I think I can get it done.
I plan to do all the trouble area's like:
    Normal front area
    bottom side rockers
Inside the door sill where water collects and makes nasty water marks
Above the wind shield (I just noticed bug guts there)
The black spoiler on the rear (its black and plastic, its going to scratch easy with washes.)

I don’t really plan to do the wheels yet until suspension stuff is done. I don’t want to ruin the MPG just yet.

    Welcome,

The springs shouldn't be an issue as much as the oem shocks which are very soft. I have installed the tein htech's and I really have to watch my speed for up and down roads.
I also came from a 04 g35 coupe dropped on 20's and I felt more at ease as the Prius.

Either way you should get the hang of it. I was more worried about the rubbing at the tires but I get more contact in front then anything else.
