Im finishing up my clazzio cover install, my question is when i put the heating pads on the seat should i cover the factory seat cover, reason i ask is because the heating pads have a sticky surface on one side to prevent movement, but i also dont want to damage the original seat cover, should i want to remove the covers in the future, im installing the heating pads between the clazzios and original seat cover, can i get away with just installing them without using the tape, alsowere did you guys pickup the power from, fuse box or the 12volt power in the center consol, thanks much

I installed heaters under the Clazzio covers. I considered not sticking them down, but in the end, I did use the double sided tape which was attached to the heaters. Ultimately, I was concerned they would shift over time if I didn't use the tape.

I had also considered sticking them to the covers themselves using 3M spray adhesive. I think this would work very well, but you will have to be careful when you install the covers with the heaters attached since a lot of flexing is involved.

I am also concerned about any residue on the stock fabric if I ever need to take the covers off, but I am not losing any sleep over it.

I ran a new 12V/20A fused circuit by tapping into the heavy gauge white wire which is behind the panel containing the mirror adjustment switch. I used the fused tap that came with my heaters (the red/black item in the left of the image above). I didn't want to tap off an existing circuit since the heaters pull about 5A each, for a total of 10A - this would stress the 15A stock accessory circuit. I ran the wires under the knee airbag and tucked them under the center console. I made all the connections in the center console cavity. Since the circuit I added is always hot, I installed a relay which is triggered by the accessory line to the center console 12V outlet to ensure the heaters can't be on when the car is off.

I'm sure it would work by tapping the existing 12V in the center console for the accessory outlet, which would save you some trouble. I went to the extra trouble since I also installed an additional 'always on' accessory outlet in the console.

    Good luck !

    Hi Guys,

I just ordered a set of Clazzio's leather covers and I was wondering how hard it was to install the covers on the back seat? The front seat videos look pretty straight forward, but there are no videos of the install on the back seat.
    Thanks,
    Bill

the rear seat covers , arent that bad to do, everything is very stright foward, i did remove the bottom cushion and i did not install the wings, the bottom was very easy, just roll up the backs as far as possible then install over the backs of the factory seats, and tug and pull until it fits correct, took myself and the wife 2 hrs to do the rear seats
