(OP):My lights were melting the face of my headlight housing and I was never a fan of the Large bubble look of the headlight housing, and had a couple extra headlight assemblys to spare so i removed the housing cover and re mounted the inner assembly to the backing that mounts to the car
Painted with matte High temp (flame proof) paint and made a couple bulb covers out of some plastic from my old oem tail lights.
Havent installed on the car yet, just finished assembly. will post pics when finished, their will definatly be some panel gaps but as far as overall look im certain it will be more visually appealing.

As a back up, if i dont like the look of this i plan to get a flat panel of high temp resistance plastic, and bend and mount it to the face of the housing so that its flush with the hood and bumper cover. (likely wont do this but thats plan B)

Additionally, inside of the lowbeam-housing, their is a metal panel which blocks 60% of the light emmited from the bulb; I removed a large portion of the panel so that its now nearly full beam.

32,000 lumen Bulbs H11 (And yes i know what your thinking, those are excessivly bright; BUT i will be replacing the dark smoke headlight wrap so they end up being dimmer than most headlights anyhow)
