I found this ebay seller who's selling Key Fob for the 2nd Gen Prius and wanted to know if anyone has bought these cheap knock offs and had any success with them working on a SKS Key Fob Prius? Look at this on eBay For 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Toyota Prius Smart Prox Remote Car Key Fob | eBay I bought a used SKS Key Fob from offer up and didn't realized after purchased it's not that simple to load another key fob without special tools. Secondly has anyone bought a cheap scanner or mini vci techstream tool ebay and it worked on programming a used SKS Key fob? Please give me any info on experience. Follow up on Cheap Virgin SKS key fob for 2nd Gen Prius. I got the SKS key fob today and program the key via the chicken dance steps. It seems to program no problem and smart features are working. It even came with a battery. The case seems a little cheap compared to the OEM Housing and doesn't have the silver logo on the back. If really want one you can swap out from the old key fob or buy OEM housing. They are interchangeable. Total cost plus shipping and tax is $109.00. Don't waste your time with used SKS key fob it won't work and will cost you more than buying aftermarket fob. Will need to have original SKS Key Fob to program back up key and will need to cut double sided key. SM-J737T1 ?
