Hankook Optimo H426

    My local tire shop is pushing these as a good replacement tire for the Prius with 17" wheels.
    has anyone used them? At about $ 116.00 ea they seem to be a good price and are supposed to be a LRR tire.

    Any opinions are appreciated

    I wouldn't get them. They don't rate very high with TireRack.com or Consumer Reports. The Continental ExtremeContact DWS is a far superior tire and it is around the same price. I prefer the Primacy MXM4, Ecopia EP422, Continental ContiProContact or even Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max to them.

    You can also upsize to a 205/50/17 in which case the PureContact, Ecopia EP422, Serenity Plus or P6 Four Seasons would be better.
