I installed the kit from Xenon Supply - plug and play and they have a video showing step by step instructions on a Prius. Cost is much lower through them too. I only did lo-beams in HID as I saw no need to convert hi-beams.

I was thinking about the one from xenon supply. How's the output? I'm not expecting a sharp cut off but is it close enough? Do you have any pictures you can share? Thanks!

I say go with the retrofit. Did it on my subaru and I'm just happy with the output.

I have the TRS/Morimito HID in my prius and it's livable, but with a controlled projector it could be better.

I wanted to go with retrofit but can't find a reputable places that can do a right retrofit. There's a place an hour from me but he's charging a lot of $$$.

Do it yourself. It's pretty simple. Well I'm assuming it is. My subaru was fairly simple. Save yourself a ton of money too.

Sorry don't have a pic at the moment. The Prius already has a pretty sharp cutoff with standard halogens (see it in the garage when I pull in), but you don't notice it as much on the open road as you would with HID's since the HID's are much brighter. Believe me, without the cutoffs, people will be flashing you all night long - they are that bright! As far as doing your own install, I did my own and I'm not one to do stuff like this. The video gave me confidence to do it myself as there is absolutely no second guessing on what to do during each step of the install. I choose the 4300k's to get the brightest and whitest light - not interested in the blue HID tint, which to me look fake.

Thanks your response! Did you install a relay harness? I heard the heavy duty relay harness from TRS is a good choice with the xenonsupply kit. Thanks!
