    Greetings All!
My first post, just bought an 08 Prius, package 6, all the bells n' whistles. I turned in my BMW X3 for this and couldn't be happier...

However, still very awkward with the GPS. Do I have this right: you can only suspend and resume guidance? There isn't any way to STOP/START? So when you want to somewhere else you just "change" it? Very confusing.

Also, is there a way, while being guided, to display WHERE you are going?

Thanks, I look forward to interacting with you folks!

The voice command 'Delete Final Destination' will remove the destination and stop routing. Otherwise suspend, resume does start and stop guidance generated by the system.

While moving you cannot see your destination. While stationary you can.
    >map>mapview>routeoverview>touch dest. icon>zoom in.

It SUCKS the nav doesn't respond fully when moving, and that the Turn List cannot be viewed while moving. Sometimes I want to see where this thing is taking me, so I can decide ahead of time if I agree/approve.
We should take action on this inhibited functionality while moving issue.

You can also press route then delete the final waypoint.

the turn list can be viewed when moving, by accessing that function on the map screen slide out menu

The 'Screen Preference' - 'Turn List' mode does show about 3 of the upcoming turns while moving. But it's not a complete list to the destination, when there are more than 3 upcoming tunns. And you can't scroll forward to the destination. Once again, full functionality is inhibited when moving.

You can search the threads to modify the motion kill-switch. I believe it tells your Prius that you are at rest and all those functions are available.

If you're new at modding, taking the dash panels out can be tricky. A panel removal tool ($7.00 at Autozone) is a great investment.
