Nobody has a check yet. Checks won't start until May at the earliest.

I haven't heard how many direct deposits have been made so far. But since we do tax payments, not refunds, we won't be in the early rounds of deposits.

I haven't paid attention to that specific case.

Despite filing online, I still send paper checks later, so they don't have my account number.

"The economic impact payment will be deposited directly into the same banking account reflected on the return filed."

This suggests that if you gave them a bank account number for an electronic direct payment, then this stimulus should be automatically deposited there. But don't quote me, check back later at this URL for updates.

Yes, if filed already. Otherwise from the 2018 return, if that was properly filed.

 

I've been a slacker this year and haven't done my 2019 taxes yet. So the good news is whether going by 2018 or 2019, it should have no effect on when you receive it.
