Glove Compartment Rattle

    I bought an '08 about a month ago, and am already hearing a rattle from the glove compartment...I think it's the actual door that's not right, as when I press it hard there is no rattle. Should I take it back to the dealer and have them fix it? I have read about other rattling issues on here, but am not sure what to do...

    If you can actually demonstrate it for the service tech, they can probably fix it.

    Make sure that it isn't the upper shelf insert in the upper glove compartment - if it isn't inserted into the track correctly, it can rattle (or so I've read).

    Thanks. It sounds like the door just isn't latching correctly, so I'll take it in and see if they can correct the problem.
