I'm looking to swap a gen 4 motor into my 2012 prius v and I think I've seen that you have to match the motor you buy to the a letter in the vin of the car or the stamp on the motor? How do I know what motor will work on my car or would any gen 4 work
Any Gen 4, but there's some modifications needed if you're doing it yourself better watch some Youtube videos.

Hybrid Pit has figured that out. Also with my full Gen 4 install it actually runs COOLER overall than a Gen 3.
