I live in the Houston, TX area and put a 2010 Model V Prius with Technology Package on order May 23, 2009. So far it hasn't come in, they told me 3-4 months.

Has anyone else received the Model V with the Technology Package?

I notice on the Toyota of the Model V you cannot configure packages such as the Technology Package.

Is there a delay on the Technology Package? If so, any estimate of availability?

What about delay on just the model V ?

Thanks to everyone for their help

    M/C2,

I am about a week from delivery on a V with Nav here in So Dak. I put money down on the car the 4th of Aug with an indefinite delivery date. My rep called last week to tell me a Red V allocated to his dealership will hit the shores about the 6th of Sept. and be ready for pick up about the 15th. It could just be luck because Dianne indicated our region gets very few V's! Then again, I specified ANY COLOR.

    Good luck!

Vs have been hard to find in the GST region (includes TX, OK, LA, MISS, ARK). The good news is they actually show up now if you go to GST's build a toyota site. The bad news is there still not very many, and just a couple with AT. There have have been a couple of people in Texas, including quantumslip in Sugar Land, who had their cars shipped in from California. Try e-mailing several dealers to see if someone is willing to give you a firm commitment with a VIN. Happy hunting! Try to identify a car before it gets to the GST port facility, so you can specify no unwanted port add-ons. FYI, they don't actually go through the port. They get shipped by train from San Francisco's port to a processing center in Sealy.

Which dealership did you went to? I am trying to get my IV's with SR next month and every dealership is telling me different things. Joe Myers first told me they can order the car but then the manager refused to order for me. Because he said too many people are ordering it, so it will actually take even longer to order it than just try to see what is out there. I know that is totaly BS, so I will not go back anymore. The sales in there was very nice to me, but too bad the Sales Manager screwed up the sales. Sterling Mccall said they had order my car since July but so far haven't heard anything from them. And last, I went to Fort Bend Toyota. They told me they can order the car for me and it should be long for them to get the car since they get two allocation each month. To be able for them to order the car for me, then I had to write them a $500 check. So far they are the only one that really sounds like I can get the car from, that is why I am willing to do the deposit to them. I think you better go shop around to see.

Not quite accurate. The vehicles are shipped into Benecia, California and arrives by rail into Houston. The processing facilty is near FM1960 and the Hardy Toll Road, near Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The Sealy facilty is actually GST's parts distribution point.
