Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 snow tires (195/65R15) mounted on 15" Prius alloy wheels (2011) with TPMS and lug nuts. Tires have 3,500 miles on them. Alloy wheels have some cosmetic peeling. (Original TPMS; not sure if TPMS batteries still work.) Local pick-up: Iowa City, Iowa. $400
My experience is that snow tires are very grippy on ice, but when the temperature is near melting, they have virtually no traction at all. That's why I decided to stick with all-season tires year around.
Blizzaks were gold, back when we had deep snow, refreezing to black ice. Never found them to be particularly squirrely in the wet or dry. They’re not all-season high performance, though.
That’s a good price, for stock rims and decent snow tires. If the TPMS sensors have failed, or you don’t want the twice yearly ha$$le of introducing them to the car, they’ll still be be functional as valves. Set of stock lug nuts too. For potential buyers, presumably in the salt belt, it’d be good to get the centre caps, if you don’t use the full wheel covers.
