Does anybody know where i can find a gen 3 driver side taillight for a decent price??? or a better question does anybody know of a company or a person parting out gen 3's?
I am sure there are local salvage companies. I have gotten parts from parts.com for like 1/2 price from the dealers. Just get the part number from the dealer and look it up @ parts.com.
You might do a search on EBAY also; Seems like there are always quite a few used Prius parts listed there.

Check out the dealer price for the assembly first just to be sure. When someone crossed the center line and "detached my driver's side mirror with extreme prejudice"---I found out that the dealer replacement was only 10 bucks more expensive than eBay or any of the parts.com places....and they had it in stock. This was GM though... I'm sure it won't happen that way for the rear lamp---especially for a Toyota, but you never know until you know, and it will give you a good base line price with which to begin your quest! I'll just bump this thread - we've seen a few - but please throw at this anything on parted Prius' there are gobs of them.... WWW.XVIPERS.COM has the best i've seen so far - but there must be many many others that salvage the car?????????????????
