Gen 2 Prius ABS brake actuator clearing the codes?

Anything is possible with a used car. The brake actuator usually displays symptoms of leaking pressure. The Prius ECU monitors everything in the car and if anything is out of spec, you get the warning lights.

Since it seems you've driven the car a couple months, the actuator probably did not fail at the time you bought the car. It might have had symptoms of it leaking pressure the entire time (the constant rattling noise), but you were not familiar enough with the car to know there was something wrong.

 

C1345 code is no big deal. Car wants the linear solenoid offset learning procedure done. Do that, car happy, code goes away. Takes about two minutes.

C1203 is more interesting, generally refers to a communication issue between the brake ECU and the engine ECU. On the other hand, its workup page in the repair manual starts with a note reminding you to do the linear solenoid offset learning. So I would be inclined to start there.

You can reset codes with an app and a bluetooth obd2 adapter combined with disconnecting the 12v battery for a few minutes. Realize you have one of the most complex cars on the road, absolutely complex back in 2007. It takes a Toyota scanner called Techstream to do many of the tests and procedures. It is expensive and there are some expensive aftermarket scanners that will do most things on a Prius. A good local Prius mechanic is a good starting point as many if not most problems will simply return after clearing. He could scan and clear easily. He could give you a better perspective based on years of experience. Otherwise you could start by disconnecting the 12v and then try an app like Dr Prius, Car Scanner or Torque. Keep in mind that this car is not telling you that it wants its codes reset.

It is telling you that it wants you to run a particular calibration procedure that takes about two minutes and will make the code go away.

It will usually keep telling you that until that's been done.

 

Did you try un plugging the box next to the 12v battery and the battery it the abs back up power. I had to replace it after it kept doing the abs. It blows a fuse under the hood too. Once. Had to charge the caps inside the one from the junkyard it was dead blowing fuses every time I hooked it up (don't jumper fuse) add jumpers charge 12v remove jumpers

The OP posted the trouble codes already. They mean the car needs the solenoid calibration done. The OP should do the solenoid calibration. It's not hard.
