    Thanks for your thoughts.

We've had 16 very reliable years out of this 2004 prius and with over 200k miles now.

Battery is having problems after it was not driven for weeks at a time during virus lockdown.

Plan on keeping it as a local teen to high school car - but perhaps sell if we can get much out of it. Seems like having the battery problem 'solved' would be good.

Looking for advice on the way to go - I'm leaning towards replacing the bad cells myself - but fear playing whack a mole if other - seemingly good cells are just going to start going bad. I am pretty a pretty capable diy person and do have some time to do it properly if it's not hell and whack a mole.

See my detailed post in the Troubleshooting Forum if you have any advice on the way I should go and your own experiences solving gen 2 battery fix/module replacement/battery replacement, DC-Virginia area reliable refurbished battery shops, whether the new batteries posted on these forums might be worth doing ($1600 vs. cell replacement-balancing-testing-hassles-whack a mole when other cells go?), etc.

Thanks in advance for any ideas/advice as we seek to keep this reliable old prius going for another few years - and/or have the battery working well if we decide to sell it in a year or two.

Let's discuss this in your other post that has your Dr. Prius app screenshots... I just posted over there and will follow up with more info when I get back from gardening.
