gas level sensor or relay

    Our 2002 Prius (120 k miles) started blinking the gas level gauge a few days ago. Our service person says that some sort of relay is bad. Here's the thing: the price for the part is $500 and labor is another $300. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks.

    Have you tried the old standby: the master reboot? Disconnect the battery negative for 5 minutes.
