according to the article ... ok. there are TONS of exceptions though. My better half is a 3+ yr survivor of triple negative breast cancer & the treatment requires NOT doing any type of "free radical" regime - due to the fact that it negates the chemo-therapy - which would have otherwise been neutralized by said therapy. Just saying - in light of the fact that we were overwhelmed with good meaning folks who'd insist that we partake in all sorts of supplements, anti-oxidants etc, to assure the successful recovery - when in fact, unknowingly, their 'therapy' would have actually ended up being a death warrant had we followed their advice. Bottom line - everyone needs to do their own home work, because we're all different. Don't think so? Consider comedian George Burns, who live to be over 100, though he daily smoked cigars & downed daily martini's.

Well according to my organic chemistry professor - you can eat foods like raw almonds, or you can pay for a supplement. If you eat the raw almonds, I'll show you how they work in the body, if you buy the supplements, you don't care if they really work, you just are going for a plecibo effect that will help sell more of these fake supplements. Paraphrased from years ago.

There is a study that says there are possible side effects but there is possible benefits for Hydrogen water for people with metabolic stress.
Of course these same characteristics can come from eating a handful of raw almonds a day, which has many other potential health benefits. There are also studies that are small and bad saying it can help athletic recovery, but these results aren't as good as those promoting a beer after a work out for recovery. I guess the water has fewer calories than almonds or beer, but it also doesn't taste as good or show many of the other benefits.

If you are healthy and not working out to fatigue, my guess is it will do you no good. They do drink a lot of it in Japan. If you want to get in on a japanese fad, and realize it won't really make you any healthier, go ahead and try the hydrogen water.
