    Hi all!

I have a 2016 Prius with 33k miles and I am due to another oil change. Does anyone have an idea when and how often should I change the fuel filter?

    Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Not sure what country you're in - TOYOTA stipulate different service requirements for different countries.

Check what the service book specifies.

Ditto. Give responders a fighting chance, disclose yur approximate location. Might "Bend" be Bend, Oregon, in the USA?

I'd second that too. Only trouble with the US book (and Canadian schedule now, and the latter is online only): it goes event-by-event. Anyway, I've gone through the 4th gen US schedule, and there's no mention of fuel fliter change. For the best maybe: it's inside the gas tank.

Attached is a spreadsheet summary of the US 4th gen Prius schedule.

This is Australia if "Bend" refers to Australia - but your country might have different specification:

The thing is that I do not have the original service book and owners manual as I bought my car second hand. But I will visit the dealership these days and get a new one. Thanks, guys!

My warranty and maintenance guide does not mention the fuel filter at all.

Fuel supply cleanliness is variable around the globe.

The USA has had extremely clean fuel for 20+ years, so most cars don't even have a fuel filter. At best it's a basic sock wrapped over the pump.

I seem to recall someone mentioning recently, that the Austrailian fuel filter is more easily accessible? Not sure about that, or which gen they were talking about.

On fourth-generation Prius and Prius Prime cars, the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump assembly. It’s not sold separately, and as @Mendel Leisk kindly explains, it’s not a scheduled maintenance item.
Not on these cars. The Electronic Parts Catalog lists four versions of the fuel pump assembly—before or after model year 2019, and U.S. or most-of-the-world—all mounted in the tank and having an integral filter.

@alanclarkeau just for giggles, ask dealership service department what they charge for the filter change? Maybe too, are they doing it, are any owners waving the service, is it worthwhile and do they recommend it?

Dang it! So no one here have changed it?! Mine also requires change, as well as the in-tank filter.
