The fuel door on my gen 2 prius has a broken spring. It's not the clip...its the spring. It has been very stiff..
Anyone know what parts I should be looking for? Wasn't able to do a good search of prius chat.

The spring that pushes the door open?

In my gen 1, I was able to buy that part on its own from Toyota and put it in. It was clip-shaped. I'm not sure if gen 2 is different.

It's the hinge pin rather than the clip. It actually looks like a hinge pin from a normal door hinge, except it is narrow (maybe 3 mm diameter) and it bends at the top and bottom of the door. It's not clear to me that this part comes with a new door...some I've seen online don't seem to have it included.
