I am offering this up for Priuschat members before it goes up on Ebay. I am somewhat new on here but have been selling on Ebay since 1999 with 100% positive 1275+ feedbacks. Username: ABCelectronicsEtc

Here we have a custom made sub enclosure/amplifier rack for the Gen II Prius. This was fabricated by myself to house a 12 inch sub and amplifier(s), and be a completely stealth setup while retaining the spare tire.

This was constructed out of ¾ Inch MDF and fiberglass. The whole thing is covered in charcoal ozite carpet. The enclosure is designed to replace the plastic storage bin and fit directly over and into the spare tire. The factory floor panel fits directly over it and does not muffle the bass. I do recommend using a metal grille over the speaker. The enclosure is hinged on the right side and locks into place using marine grade rubber tension latches. It requires no modifications to the hatch area. You will have to drill 8 small holes in the metal floor in order to safely bolt it down.

The sub enclosure has about .8 cubic feet of air space. The amplifier rack section measures 20 x 12 inches. It has 8.25 inches of depth (deep enough for a JL Audio 12W6V2). The inside is stuffed with polyfill to improve sound quality, and pre-wired with 12-gauge speaker wire to make installation easier.

Asking price is $250. That’s professionally packed and shipped to your door via UPS Ground within the lower 48 states. Please PM or post questions.
