Front seat headrest "buttons?"

    I'm looking to snake a power cable (for a rear seat DVD screen) down the back of the passenger front seat. It would be far easier if I could remove one of the headrest "buttons". Does anyone know how they can be removed without breaking them?

    Why not run it through the center post of the headrest?

    It's not an integrated headrest unit. So I have no way of getting the power cable into the headrest post. That would have been too easy.

    So, anyone know how to remove the buttons?
