I have a 2012 Prius 4 which appears to have a different part number and have different styling from the 2010-2011 cover. If I find a good used 2010 or 2011 cover will that fit and take the lights from a 2012?
Does the 2012 stay the same till 2015?

I think not; there’s diffence in the light locations/shapes, before/after the mid-gen cosmetic revisions.

I think they will all clip up but your cutouts and all of that will be different The cow catcher grill and all that that goes in the 13 and higher I think but it all clips up I think any generation 3 front bumper cover and rear bumper cover will fit all of the models whether it has your rear lift gate top bumper pad and all the other bells and whistles and whatnot may or may not be but I think they can all fit even the bells and whistle pieces can be bought separately and put on if that's your thing. The two cars I have here a 2010 solar roof and a 2013 Persona all the body pieces could interchange different holes that might be in those body pieces well they're going to go on to the other vehicle or whatever but you put in those holes well that's another story but I believe all the holes line up.

So it sounds like it might work, but probably best to stick to the part that is intended for the car... maybe buy new for $185 and paint it. Strange thing is one site lists three part numbers for the 2012 Prius 4. I get two different numbers because one is without paint and the other is without color. I asssume the second maybe is primed?? same price not sure.
