Free hybrid parking in fashionable Ferndale MI

    For those of us in Michigan, this is pretty big news considering hyrbrid owners here don't get the perks that hybrid owners in other parts of the country do. I don't generally go to Ferndale because I consider it a bit too far and out of the way to drive to but it suddenly seems somewhat closer today :) Of course, since I'd have to pay $25 per year for the decal, I'd have to do a lot of parking there.

    I just paid $1300/yr to park near U-Michigan... I wish they had this law in Ann Arbor. The Ann Arbor toyota dealer is #2 largest Prius dealer in the country!

    Yeah, Ann Arbor's the only city around here where my Prius is common place and no one ogles it. I'd move there if I could handle the long commute.
