Ford REFL3X and VW EcoRacer

    The Ford Reflex or REFL3X and VW EcoRacer are two concept cars unveiled a year ago that really excited me. They are small and combine sports car performance with 65 mpg or 80 mpg fuel efficiency. I haven't heard any news about these recently. Has anyone heard any whisperings about these or related cars coming to market?

    The Reflex will be then the first diesel hybrid car on the market ? It probably will have better mpg then the prius, but i think Ford will have a hard time selling diesels to Americans for one, let alone treehuggers.

    I'm pretty sure the EcoRacer was not intended for production.
