How often are you having to replace the battery in your fob ? Seems i have had to replace the battery 3 times in one year . does this seem right ? I have a 2015 Prius technology .

My manual says 1-2 years, but we get 4-5

are you keeping it away from the car and other electronics?

    Sometimes you get bad batteries.
Sometimes you have a button stuck down.
I always test mine before replacing.......and test the new one too.

We don't use ours much.......the button functions, that is.......but I think
they have lasted at least 4 years so far on both vehicles.

I have had to replace batteries on ours, but it's been so long now I can't remember, maybe 5 years. Does the Prius c have touch to lock/unlock. If not, maybe more demands on it? Yeah maybe cheap batteries?
