guys, anyone have this? i saw a video of an install in a Lexus IS250 and it looks pretty nice so I wanted to share. Menu definitely isn't as slick as some others but it looks OEM nice! wondering if this works well in a Prius.

edit: i can't post links b/c i'm a noob haha. search for Flyaudio and then look for Prius :)

The first thing I'd do is look around and see what forums are available for the 2010. The second thing I would do is post this in the appropriate forum (Audio). The third thing I would do is look at the massive volume of posts on Chinese head units (do a search on Chinese - that should do it).

There's nothing specific to Fly - but it looks to be the identical unit being built by Coagent (and rumored to be coming out for 6+ months now). If it is out - that is news - because it would be a newer Chinese model - with better graphics - and clearly a nice OEM look.

The link to flyaudio is FLYAUDIO CORPORATION-- or www.flyaudio.us
It looks to me the old HW in the new coat (Samsung, SIRF II? (GPS - 12 satellites), Wince5.0. The interface and settings options look to be a quite advanced one. I was unable to find more details about HW. Also the only online prices are only on russian market (I didn't done an extensive search). The RU price is about 820 Eur.
What is good the unit can be DIY upgraded.

the fly audio site lists a few retailers in the US and canada, but that looks like it. hopefully the caska/coagent unit will be out soon then!

This really needs to move to Audio - or it becomes irrelevent...

IMHO and it is just an opinion, These MUST be one and the same.

It is too small a market to bring competing plastics (at $200K+) and hardware (at $xxxxxxx). Caska / Coagent have (again an educated guess) marketed this product out to FLYAUDIO.

I would not hold your breath on either at the price - but at least it looks pretty OEM!

Yes i kind of assumed they were the same product, but with caska having the european firmware.

I don't mind paying a bit more for the OEM look, so will keep looking for news on it...

I would negotiate something up front - that fixes and whatnot will be their responsibility (I kind of got that my first time around - was protected by Ebay)...
