Can’t reply to those in this forum trying to help me because the forum disallowed my reply due to having a link. I didn’t post a link. So, I am assuming this forum is broken.
So, here’s the question I was trying to ask one of those trying to help me. “Does the FIX’D OBDII code reader work with the Prius Gen 2, does anyone know?

I do not but I would imagine probably to read at least basic p codes from the basic OBD2 system probably so because my cheap Innova 3100 old scanner does this and reads ABS codes without any problems It's never been updated or anything and it's old as dog do. So I would hope even this cheap brand 10 years newer than my older Nova should at least be able to do that not can it communicate with everything in the Prius My guess would be probably not If you have lights on on the dash and the fixed code scanner is telling you nothing then you have your answer pretty much but a lot of basic scanners even old ones can read the basic OBD1 and 2P codes I've been actually shocked by my cheap Innova scanner it can read some body codes it does ABS codes etc that's why I've kept it I can throw it around it's not a 7-in tablet doesn't require anything for me and it works pretty well and I even own Toyota Tex software and have the AP200 and a few other things and I'm always checking them against each other when I get a reading from a car I'll plug in the other one and then plug in the other one try the gold standard see and surprisingly enough I'm not having to pull the gold standard off the shelf that much anymore quite interesting.

I looked at the site, and this scanner appears to be a generic OBD2 device & app. So yes it should "work" on a Prius (or most any post 1996 car).

However, it is VERY limited, covering only basic engine data and code functions. I didn't see anything about covering additional systems.

Here is a thread that reviews several scantool apps and devices, some can scan all systems on a Gen2 Prius.
