Starting trip home to GA at Wright Brothers National Memorial. Picked up at dealer yesterday with 2 miles, 151 showing now. Recharged once overnight, car sent me an email when finished. This vehicle is just amazing. Gonna take US 64 to NC 49 to I-85, so cross country will be a mix of roads. More data later. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?pd2p3j
crewdog gets the first in GA bragging rights ! Congrats! How was First Team Toyota of Chesapeake? You should stop and get gas at my exit. Oh, wait, you probably won't need gas.! Nice idea on the trip to Kitty Hawk
Very nice ride! congrats and enjoy! I'll be very interested to know the maximum miles, air cond on, etc! thanks
First fillup: 8.08 gal Odo @ 502, Figures up at 61.88mpg Running ac most of day. Running abt 60 in eco mode and cruise control Mostly US hwy, some State rds. Had 1 overnight chg. Using B to slow down regens abt 0.2 ev miles. EV miles seem to remain abt where they were when switching into HV mode. Next stop home in abt 160 miles. Sound systems excellent, esp on berry oakley bass solos on old allmann bros, and quiet orchestral passages the cellos are incredibly distinct. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?k2xxss
VERY NICE CAR! Congrats. have a safe ride home.................in the words of the immortal J. Morrison............keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel.
Thanks for your post and the picture. I ordered the same color and have had second thoughts about my choice until I saw your picture. I think I'm going to fall in love when my new car arrives which is supposed to be tomorrow. I've been waiting nearly 4 months for my new car to arrive and it's been agony. However, I heard of a Nissan Leaf owner who had to wait 18 months for his to arrive!!!
Hi: Sorry, while taking a road sanity break, typing on tiny keyboard on the iPhone, i meant to say that using B to assist in slowing down where appropriate and safe, will regenerate about 0.2 to 0.3 EV miles. Then I'd take it back to the D position to resume normal driving or cruise.
Well, it was almost going to be a gas free day, not counting the propane grill, but dang if i didnt forget something at the grocery store. Went to breakfast at noon, and with the 15 min wait for a table, car was able to fully recharge at public charge station. It's still fun to get an email thru safety connect saying vehicle has finished charging. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?x30gm2
