:D I got my first 500 miles on a tank of gas. It was actually 512 miles. Had one bar to go on the fuel gauge. Didn't push it. What a wonderful experience driving a Prius!!

I just got my second 500+ tank just recently. It took me three weeks too. When I filled up I bought 9.91 gallons of gas too. WOW!!! Imagine if I had the guts to go farther than 51.7 miles on flashing???

    I am jazzed!

I also just got my first 500 mile tank as well. I had 2 bars left when it crossed the 500 mile mark!

It seems with warming weather my 2005 Prius seems to be hitting sweet spots of phenomenal mileage. With the previous fill my gas tank I was only able to make it to 470 miles before the fuel guaged started flashing, I got about 49 mpg and my gas tank stretched to take in more than the usual amount of gas, so my calculated mileage was significantly lower than the Prius computer display.

But with this last fill I could have probably made it to 530 miles before getting the flashing bars. But I filled up at 512 miles with a 53.5 mpg. That's combined city and highway. I hand calculated the mileage based upon my fill up and it matched!

I then drove 57 miles round trip. One time I had to floor the accelerator to get back onto the highway. My average speed on the highway was about 58 mph. Even with all that I was stunned to see my mpg at 57.1 mpg!! Wow!
