Hey! My 2013 Prius Plug in (only 2 months old!) was recently totaled. I'm now back to a standard Prius III but I have an extra plug. I know they retail for like $1,200 but if anyone here needs an extra I'm selling this mint condition one for $500 and I'll ship it to you at no charge.

Not additionally, I have the standard Prius III as my car now. I had the plug-in but was it was totaled 3 weeks ago and taken by my insurance company but I still have the plug from it.

Sorry, won't go any lower than $500 (+ free shipping or delivery if in LA) as that's more than 50% off the regular price.

I mean no disrespect, but I would be surprised if you get $500 here. I don't say this to be mean, but so that you don't get your hopes up or waste your time.

thanks for you input. On that note, any idea who (like a 3rd party retailer) might buy this somewhere else?

They are going on ebay for $400 and less. OP, ebay may be a good place to sell yours.

Yeah, when you can get a fully assembled open source Level 2 EVSE for under $500 after tax and shipping, this will be a hard sell. Most of the regulars here, at least those who post routinely, have a good idea of the going prices of these things.

if you buy it and convert it to an L2, you have a pretty sweet unit.

$500 shipped is reasonable if someone is looking to replace a lost or damaged OEM unit for a leased car. People looking for the most charge per buck will buy an aftermarket unit. I suggest you try Ebay and be patient - more people are leasing PIPs every month. You might also want to wait for Spring.

I see these being listed on eBay right now as "new" and "OEM" for as low as $385 +$11.20 shipping.
