Installed my Morimoto Elite Kit (35w, 6000k) a couple days ago. All in all, I'm extremely happy with them. One thing that does bug me though are the dreaded wire shadows! Does anybody know of a way to get rid of it? If not, I'll just replace the bulbs sometime down the road. I was thinking XenonSupply.

I'm also looking for a parking light LED that would match my HIDs better than what I'm currently using. It's just a tad too blue for my 6000k bulbs.

And has anyone figured out to keep the DRLs on with low beams yet?!

Looks good. Well sorta. Mine looks the same way except I don't have the groundwork shadows but I have crappy bulbs. lol

I would take to TRS and show them the pictures and see if there is something they can do for you.

As for the parking lamp. You can try to use the hyperwhite incandescent bulb 32kcolors uses. I have an LED similar to yours and it is way too blue. So much so that I am going to put the OE bulb back in until I can order something better.

They have no fix for it. Andrew told me it's either you return it and slap you with a restocking fee or keep it and bite the bullet. TRS is already aware of the problem unless they keep denying about it and I hope they will let their suppliers know to relocate the return ground wire.

Only way is to replace the bulb.

If you plan to get the xenonsupply bulb, get the 4300K. Going with the 6000k with their bulbs will be bluer. I got the 4300K and very happy with it.

Yeah, that's too bad. Maybe I'll just wait to do a whole retrofit.

My signal mirrors just came in! Wasn't expecting them for another 3 weeks. Anyway, wish me luck (I'm really gonna need it, I'm so hungover right now...).

Finally done after 12 restless hours. So worth it. But now my check hybrid system message is coming on. I was unplugging and plugging the connectors behind the glove compartment before this happened. Any thoughts?

Not sure what to say......can't be the HIDs. Can't see it being the mirrors. Any chance u loosened any of the pins on the connectors u plugged?

It was just a simple computer error from when i disconnected something while the accessories were on. They had to "re-register" something on the hybrid system. $60 fix. Not too bad I suppose.

The guy asked me if i disconnected anything while the accessories were on when I was working on the mirror signals. I said yeah behind the glove box. And he looks at his partner and says "well there you go" like a light bulb just lit up.
