I'd like to expand the boot space for a trip. Ours has come with a cargo organiser pictured below.
I'd like to take out the organiser but don't want to rest the luggage directly on the spare tyre. I can't find any aftermarket products, though I notice that the Gen2 seems to have this, is it compatible?

Your tray is actually shaped like that (not an insert)? The stock tray on the 3rd gen (in the US) looks just like the 2nd--just an empty space with no dividers.

Yeah it's molded plastic. Maybe it's a New Zealand thing because the other prius we looked at the dealers also had that

Weird. I was going to suggest ordering one from the US, but after a closer look at your picture: there might be differences. The underside of the flip-up cover is different from our US cars. Does yours have a spare under there?

Yeah, the flip up cover is attached to the cargo organiser, but i can lift the cargo organiser out and the spare is under as you'd expect
