The brightness adjuster sounds very cool. It doesn't look as blue as the iJDMToy set. Can you post pics of the lights themselves as well?

 

Being able to choose the color temp is a big win for me, I prefer neutral white as possible, was going to go custom route but this is looks close enough to my idea and saves me time.

 

Be careful with some neutral white LEDs as some can have an unusual garish tint to them. I had the 5100K "Natural White" WLED-WHP5 from superbrightleds in the front dome for a while and hated it as it hurt my eyes. The photo that the OP posted seems more mellow and pleasant, especially given that you can modify the output with the brightness adjuster.

I'm using the 6000K iJDMToys myself as I needed LEDs that match the turn signal mirror puddle lights.

 

That is a good point about the puddle lights, I do plan on installing those in the future. I have not had issues with garishing tint so muchit caused discomfort until now though slight variations across different Bins is known. I have been getting lucky I suppose, from getting the high quality Cree LED neutral white batches. Main reason I wanted to go custom, control the quality and color of the LED.

My goal is light that bright, especially the map light uses, being neutral white is calmer on the eyes and colors are not offset from the blueness or yellowness of most standard lights. I like the idea if matching the puddle sort of with 6k and 6k is not intensely blue

Hey, so why is everyone so enthralled with led bulbs for the interior?
I keep seeing all these posts but I have yet to figure out what the draw is.
I can understand if your are looking for a change in color but I see a lot of you using white ones.
And even license plate leds? I don't think I would care if someone could see my license plate better, I'd almost want the opposite.
So someone please enlighten me. Why do I need to do this?

I myself prefer a white light verses old school yellow Edison lighting.

The only reason I did this is it looked totally off with the nearby turn signal mirror puddle lights once I had them installed. I can't stand mismatched lights. Otherwise, I would have been content with the standard bulbs.

 

Same, the mismatch came to me when putting in the upgraded protective door sills and its not just for look, as far as functionality the standard lights are not very bright, especially when your trying to find things in the rear seat or rear foot well area and trunk area which it being side mount doesn't help either.

If you open a front door when the car is turned off, you have _four_ 5W bulbs to ignite, drawing ~2A from small 12V Prius battery. It will only take 10 hours to discharge it completely. LEDS use about 1/10 power, making accidental battery discharge (when the door left not closed all the way, in the garage for example) much less likely. And they are brighter, too.
